RESTEC welcomed 18 students from Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC), Graduate School of Information Technology. The students are members of the master’s degree and internship program of the African Business Education (ABE) initiative for youth. They come from 14 countries, specifically Burkina Faso, Republic of Djibouti, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Republic of Kenya, Republic of Madagascar, Republic of Mozambique, Republic of Niger, Republic of Rwanda, Republic of Senegal, Republic of South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Togo, Republic of Zambia and Republic of Zimbabwe.
They learned basic knowledge on remote sensing and its applications in various fields. They also discussed capacity building relating to remote sensing in African countries.
